A PRODUCTION
PLANT |
By oxygen production and cylinders filling plant we mean the
whole of the components needed for the production of oxygen and its
bottling, including the container or the frame protecting it all.
They are compact units producing industrial or medical oxygen with
a purity of 94% +/- 1% in gaseous form, from surrounding air,
with no other installation or assembling to do than a mere connection
to the power mains.
The capacity of Craft® plants varies between 6 and 25 Nm³/h of
oxygen which represents 25 up to 100 cylinders per day (B50), the oxygen
compression being adjusted, as you wish, at 120, 150 or 200
bar depending on the quality of the available cylinders .

PSA PROCESS |
Oxygen production is based on the PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption)
system. This system dissociates the surrounding air into oxygen and
nitrogen by molecular filtration. By far this is the easiest to manipulate
as the molecular filtration technique does not require any specialised
skill. In addition to that, the PSA technology is pretty much adapted
to extreme environments (high temperatures, humidity, dust, elevation,
etc.) where it shows a great resistance .
The surrounding air, pre-filtered and then compressed by the compressor,
passes through a filter which eliminates the oil and other impurities
before being stored in a buffer tank. From there, the compressed air
passes through a drier and arrives at the generator where it is dissociated
into nitrogen on the one hand and into oxygen on the other hand by an adsorption/desorption
cycle. The oxygen produced in this way is then compressed to fill high-pressure
bottles. (see
